COACH OF THE WEEK

September 1, 2010

COACH LARRY TYLER, JR.

Coach Larry has been coaching with the   Gators for two years now, but has been a participant for the past four years.    The Coach recalls,” four years ago, I was in search of the best program for my two boys.  I wanted them to be apart of a winning team, but I also wanted them to obtain the discipline needed as well.” The Gators was suggested to him by a friend, and he has been satisfied every since.  Coach Larry says, “I knew the opportunities that the Gators presented.”  Now,   Coach Larry is the Assistant Athlectic Director, Basketball Coordinator, and Coach of the 65 lb’s football team.  What persuaded Coach Larry’s in-depth involvement with the Gators?  He says, “The Gators provide a safehaven of activities to children in the urban areas and their mission to help the kids of this community is one he could not witness without helping out.”  Coach Larry expects to be with the Gators for at least another ten years…..
We Thank You Coach Larry and the Coaches like you who help make our organization a Success!!!!!!
