Mission
The City Youth Association (C.Y.A.) is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide inner city youth with an alternative to drugs and crime. The Association will give participants the knowledge and support to enhance their character; exercise their athletic abilities; and complete high school and attend college.
Our mission statement is based on the following three principles:
1. To promote academic excellence through various incentive programs to be implemented throughout the season.
2. To encourage parental involvement throughout different facets of the organization to get parents involved in their children’s interest.
3. To be a positive influence as role models so that the youth may look to our staff for support, guidance, and inspiration.
